External Links
Our online offering contains links that refer to third-party sites. Unless this is clearly recognizable, we point out that it is an external link. MARKENmerch has no influence on the content and design of external providers’ pages. This privacy policy does not apply there in this respect.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
Further information can be found at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or at www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html (general information on Google Analytics and data protection). We would like to point out that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
We also use Google Conversion Tracking, an analytics service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer (“Conversion Cookie”) if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was redirected to our page. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – for example, by a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com”.
In addition, we use the Google program for interest-based advertising, known as Google Remarketing. Third-party providers, including Google, display ads on websites on the internet and use stored cookies for this purpose based on a user’s previous visits to this website. You can also deactivate the use of cookies by Google for these purposes by visiting the Google Ads opt-out page. Alternatively, users can deactivate the use of third-party cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page.
Plugins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are integrated on our pages. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like button” (“Gefällt mir”) on our page. An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins. When you visit our pages, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the plugin. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our page with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like button” while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we do not receive any knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.
Within our website, we use the “Visitor Action Pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). With its help, we can track the actions of users after they have seen or clicked a Facebook ad. This allows us to record the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, meaning we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, about which we inform you according to our knowledge. Facebook can connect this data with your Facebook account and also use it for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can enable Facebook and its partners to display ads on and outside of Facebook. Furthermore, a cookie may be stored on your computer for these purposes.
Remarketing tags from Facebook are also integrated on our pages. When you visit our pages, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the remarketing tags. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our page with your IP address. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We can use the information obtained in this way to display Facebook Ads. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we do not receive any knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you do not wish for data collection via Custom Audience, you can deactivate Custom Audiences here: https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/.
This consent may only be declared by users who are older than 13 years of age. If you are younger, we ask you to consult your legal guardians.
Functions of the Twitter service are integrated on our pages. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. By using Twitter and the “Re-Tweet” function, the websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and made known to other users. Data is also transmitted to Twitter in this process.
We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we do not receive any knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter. Further information on this can be found in Twitter’s privacy policy at http://twitter.com/privacy.
You can change your privacy settings on Twitter in the account settings at http://twitter.com/privacy.
Google+
With the Google +1 button, you can publish information worldwide. Via the Google +1 button, you and other users receive personalized content from Google and our partners. Google stores both the information that you have given a +1 for content and information about the page you viewed when clicking +1. Your +1s can be displayed as notices together with your profile name and photo in Google services, such as in search results or in your Google profile, or in other places on websites and ads on the internet.
Google records information about your +1 activities to improve Google services for you and others. To use the Google +1 button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile that must contain at least the name chosen for the profile. This name will be used across all Google services. In some cases, this name may also replace another name you used when sharing content via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile may be displayed to users who know your email address or have other identifying information about you.
In addition to the uses explained above, the information you provide will be used in accordance with the applicable Google privacy policy. Google may publish aggregated statistics about users’ +1 activities or share them with users and partners, such as publishers, advertisers, or affiliated websites.
Microsoft
Our online offerings also utilize conversion tracking from Microsoft (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). Microsoft Bing Ads places a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Microsoft Bing ad. In this way, Microsoft Bing and we can recognize that someone clicked on an ad, was redirected to our website, and reached a predefined target page (conversion page). We only learn the total number of users who clicked on a Bing ad and were then redirected to the conversion page. No personal information about the user’s identity is shared. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can refuse the necessary setting of a cookie – for example, via browser settings that generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies. Further information on data protection and the cookies used by Microsoft Bing can be found on the Microsoft website: http://privacy.microsoft.com/DE-DE/fullnotice.mspx.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymization is activated on this website. An adequacy decision by the European Commission is available for data transfers to the USA. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to the legitimate interest in the needs-based and targeted design of the website. You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate technical settings in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as Google’s processing of this data, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link [https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de]. To prevent Google Analytics from collecting data across devices, you can set an opt-out cookie. Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when visiting this website. You must perform the opt-out on all systems and devices used for this to be fully effective. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Disable Google Analytics.
